Popped up to the Knockhill track day in Fife with a few off here, also ran into some other flamers.
Pics are quite bad quality, but heres some of the better ones:
Just a few flamers:
Could be, but I believe Exclusive no.2 is on here (Y424 XES) as I viewed it when it was for sale back in Feb/March.
Welcome to the site, get some pics up :)
Really good pics.Never even heard of this show before, might take a wee trip next time.
Actually think the face lifted RS Twingo looks decent, bit marmitish though I fear
Re: Normal Sunday Routine. Wash, Polish and Photo's.
Marmite colour but that looks amazing imo.
Not sure if I am a fan of the full colour coded mirror bits but apart from that good work, a break from the norm.
Depends IMO. Even if the cambelt hasnt been done i'd still be looking for a well stamped service history book.
I'd also be wary of Gumtree. When I was looking for a 172 I viewed a few advertised on Gumtree and, well, they were dogs. Maybe I've just had a bad experience, but still I found a mint...
I'd say the F4R engines are fairly reliable.
Main thing is history - has it been serviced? When and at what mileage was the cam/aux belt etc replaced? Its this that puts value on Clios. IMO a ph1 172 that is due a cambelt change is worth £800-£1000, however if this has just been done I'd say...
Yeah its got them and one silvatec bulb lol......exhausts a wee bit loud for my liking but all works fine and still has the cat for MOT time. Yeah will no doubt be around soon :)
