The head unit is a simple swap over.
It has the ISO connector for speaker/power etc.
Some of the alpine units may be different, because they require a direct power feed, but other than that, it should be ok.

gonna take the lock off too, what do you reckon???
Well, as they say, "whilst ya there, be rude not to"
Harsh :(
Connor had a similar experience, he couldnt get hold of a roof panel with a sunroof when he rolled his car, so he fitted a non-sunroofed roof panel and new headling etc.
Ive not got any pics handy, but here are 2 video clips:

On the 182 it is VERY easy to swap over.
Its is one clamp and 2 bolts. The 172 is harder because, the manifold design puts the 2 bolts further torwards the engine.
You wont get 9k for a 172 I wouldnt have thought tbh.
Im looking to sell an 04 182 etc for £9,000 so I would put the 172 at around 8-8.5 if youre lucky?
top show guys, a 200+ cup that can finally be proven! :D now do a comparison to LADs 200Cup ;)
Great Teamwork Andy, y0z and Ben. (Im sure Rupert was involved somewhere too!)
