The head unit is a simple swap over. It has the ISO connector for speaker/power etc. Some of the alpine units may be different, because they require a direct power feed, but other than that, it should be ok.

Cruise control is always out of sync. My Speedo, Cruise Control and GPS all say different values.

Harsh :( Connor had a similar experience, he couldnt get hold of a roof panel with a sunroof when he rolled his car, so he fitted a non-sunroofed roof panel and new headling etc.

On the 182 it is VERY easy to swap over. Its is one clamp and 2 bolts. The 172 is harder because, the manifold design puts the 2 bolts further torwards the engine.

yeah, McBunny paid around £1200 for his iirc.

Id say £1500 is optimistic!! Probably around £1200 is about right.

You wont get 9k for a 172 I wouldnt have thought tbh. Im looking to sell an 04 182 etc for £9,000 so I would put the 172 at around 8-8.5 if youre lucky?

tbh, they wont care about 60mm compared to 50mm. You can just say it settled lower than planned.

GDI/y0z2asport got 200 out of a 172, so Id say it was easy enough to do the same with a 182.
