I went from an 03plate 172 to a new 182 with cup suspension.
It was worlds apart, gave me far more confidence in the car.
Give it a while and soon you will think the 172 was bad in comparison, even though it too was a cracking car! :)
There is one good thing........
its in the best place for spraying.
Between the 2 angle changes in the panels etc.
(not much of a consolation, but better than them doing it lower down the car).
Hope it gets sorted soon mate.

im going to have to start saving for my http://www.cel-direct.com/detail.asp?ProductID=3917next hu
fooking hell check the price of that thing...
I have a 225 at the mo (hire car).
I went from a 182 to it...
It pulls well, but doesnt have the grin factor of the 182.
It feels better put together and feels more like a sports car.
It doesnt handle as well round corners/roundabouts as the 182
It costs more to fill the 225 up in...

Bet you get more respect driving the 172 round off 75% of people though mate.you dont get many people going "look!! a standard 182"Both cars are nice m8 - i wouldnt call the 172 a monstrosity!
Wheres a 172?
Dont forget...
youre asking about dropping the clio for something else... on a clio site ;)
Look at the amount of people that have done so tho, 182_blue, McBunny, myself, ChavyBoy to name but a few.
