The main reason is because 1 yr ago (April to July) renault ran a 30% discount on 182s to Friends and Family. Which made a VERY cheap fun at car 10k brand new. Hence, people are now moving them on.

I had a ProSpeed system on my 182, it went for 2 services and a number of warranty items without any problems. Same for many others.

No, not always. Depends on the dealer, but the standard approach is that they wont cover parts that are damaged if they are damaged becuase of the aftermarket parts.

Normally the value is based on "the current state". So if you start taking bits out, they may adjust the value. It all depends on the insurance co.

Agree with Shaun about using j3ned for a replacement engine, the bill will be yours unless renault are feeling generous.

That is part of the problem tho. Renault have killed the 2nd hand market by ALWAYS discounting the 172/182. Do you know anyone that has paid list price?

I got £8,750 for a 182 WITH cup packs (deffo makes a difference on resale) witn 30,000 miles. I think youd be looking at 7-7.5 if your lucky.

I had a system on my 182. Charlie is a very helpful chap and will always try and match your requests. Deffo worth the money imho.
