Maybe its another mount that needs to be replaced also? Mine was really bad so I knew it had to make a difference.

Early Sunday morning start to do the dogbone mount. It really was easy peasy to do! The judder when pulling away / letting off the accelerator and back on has now gone so it was a job worth doing. The old mount was massively deteriorated so was probably the original one!

Ah sorry mate, i thought you meant the full floor carpet lol! Yes, those mats are brilliant, i have them in my 182 and will be getting them for the dci too. My local Renault only charge about £22 for them.

I would rather not mess around with the uch / ecu, so i agree the best option if anything, would be to just do the barrel, blade and lock / peteol cap. Then get a new key made which im sure you can get for around £60 if not genuine. I think i will keep going as it is for now unless anything...

Thats the bit i dont understand mate. If you change the barrel, can you just use the metal key part that comes with the barrel, door lock and fuel cap and continue using the current microchip i have in the current key? Or would that not work? If it would work, then i could just get a new key...

PROBLEM SOLVED. IT WAS A BLOWN FUSE. Now interior lights work when unlocking the car, along with the radio working automatically and not needing the code entering each time you start the car, and the clock time doesnt reset itself anymore when turning the engine off.
