The seats are EXACTLY the same as the aftermarket offering from recaro. Its probably cheaper to buy them direct from recaro or an aftermarket reseller than from Renault for a retrofit? The wiring loom modification would deffo be worth buying from renault to prevent the airbag light...

Its quicker to change gear? ie "quickshift"? Less time between pressing the clutch pedal and allowing it back up again?

Oh and by having them, you loose the split fold rear seats and headrests, you get the "cup" 1 piece bench instead with no headrests.

Id have at least the first service done by Renault. A.) It shows the next owner you at least had one thing done by them. B.) Often the first chance your car is checked over since delivery C.) You can query if there are any warranty issues etc. You dont skimp on other stuff, so why do people...

You need the SP08 kit iirc. Its especially designed for the 172/Cup/182 etc
