Hi Anybody meeting up or fancy meeting up around Banbury/Bicester way for convoy to CSS. Going by myself and don't want to be a loner on the day ha :o.

I've just ordered £130's worth of gear from Elite Car Care. Sent them a cheeky email asking if they can dispatch today so it can be delivered tomorrow, recieved an email back half an hour later saying no probs. Great service so far!

I had this problem with mine, with Admiral. They kept telling me I had a 197 cup. Even when I told them no it's not, they said I should know what car I drive and it's definately a cup! Got it sorted in the end, but wasn't worth the risk as if I crashed I'm sure they would try and wriggle out...

Hi Mate I had to get one on my 172 when I had it. From memory it was about £50 second hand, but that was off a mate.. You have to buy the full pedal unit. Speak to somebody like cliospares as I know they had them in stock a while ago, think they were about £80-£100.

You don't know what causes it do you? If you reckon they've been like that for a while I may speak to the dealer I bought it from, its only in the past week or two they have not felt as sharp as they did. Just to mention, this is only on the inside of the disc on each side.

Not sure how quickly the perish, mine just used to lift up, was actually about a month after Autoglass fitted a new screen to my car, and the noise was horrendous! I took mine off, then eventually stuck it back down with silicone when I sold the car.

Check the rubber strip at the top of the windscreen on the outside. Mine use to lift and screetch like hell on a long motorway trip.

Thanks for the replies guys. Been told it will be a door respray and blend and that they should be able to remove the dent no problems. Just waiting on the prices now, but at least from the above I have a rough indication of what I'm going to be paying! Don't want a half job on it really...
