That's what iv pictured above? The center was blocked and I pushed a screwdriver through it to which water poured out. So I'm assuming I found the right place?

I did think the door could be the issue but there is no sign of leaking from it when I prayed water over it. And what is your issue aha?

This may sound stupid but is it your heat shield under the car? My Bros mr2 made this exact noise and it was a loose bit of shield.

Also you could try swapping the leads like swap the cylinder 2 for cylinder 4 and see if the code changes to cylinder 4 then you would know where the issue is

I would imagine so! My did the same thing thought it was a lambda so stripped the underside of the car as the thread stripped on the manifold, only to find it was this! Try spraying break cleaner in it and see if that helps first

I spoke to the company and they confirmed their the right ones mate. So that's sorted!
The preload shims are a different story! Spoke to some specialists today but they all say you can't just buy shims you have to
measure everything before getting some... so that will have to wait till I take...
just seen two different kits online. there specified as either an early kit or late kit? is this what im looking for? and just check a gearbox i had laying in the garage and it is a jc5130...
