Well figured I’d strip the rear beam off the 182 so I could get it powder coated then I can swap parts onto the 172 without leaving it in bits.
Naturally 3 of the 6 captive bolts decided they don’t want to come out and I can’t get at it with a grinder... thanks Renault.
Will have to go at it...
Looking at the militek I'd say it might impact performance slightly as the pipework narrows when it splits to the two back boxes.
You would be better off swapping it for a 172 exhaust or a lightweight racing exhaust from pure motorsport etc.
As above its going to be expensive and somewhat dangerous to print anything thats going to survive on a moving car without flying off and disintergrating.
However it would be feasable to print something in ABS on a cheap hobby printer that you can use while its parked up or moving slowly for...

Seems to be in really good condition, going to need some paint on the rear bumper, a few rusting stone chips touch ups and the usual filler cap fix.
The spoiler also had a bad...
It’s the usual blueprint of getting popular, struggling to keep up with the orders without cutting corners, then shutting down when it becomes too much.
Picked this up today for £400, 55k miles on the clock but it hasn’t moved in 5 years.
Started almost straight away on the key to my surprise, sounds like the water pumps knackered and the rear brakes are seized on so had to drag it back.
Plan is minimal mods but renewing everything so that...
Just take a trailer test it’s pretty easy to pass,
All you have to do is reverse it into a parking space, drive down the road for 10 minutes then unhook it.
