Personally I don't think you can unless your too tight to buy the 4th :rasp:. Every one i've done i've always got 3l in it easily and a good 200-300ml out of the 4th bottle in before it starts coming back out. Seeing as I really wouldn't want to underfill one in my eyes you need 4l to do it...

You've got a non soft touch one off a cooking model. Should be easily replaced.

Well having never done one before and on my drive it took me from 10am to 5pm not rushing and stopping for lunch. So i'd expect a half decent garage to easily be able to do it in that time with a ramp.

Not very helpful i'll admit but i'd advise against spraying them tbh, seen it done several times and it looks bloody horrible imo. The normal plastic colour looks far better personally.

Take the tank level sender connector off and clean it up. Its under the plastic cover under the rear bench. Can't remember which one it is so just do both.

Auto lights/wipers didn't come in on the cooking ones until Jun 02 but i'm 99.9% sure the 172 had them from the start. Is there a sensor behind the rear view mirror?
