Removed the feed but left the acoustic valve in as I wasn't 100% comfortable with leaving that plug disconnected. And it doesn't require all the hassle of taking the arch liner out etc to remove the valve. Short answer is no because i'm lazy.

The speedo drive for a non abs model is wired as such: With the speedo sensor connector: 250 VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR SSABS A 0.75 AP29 PROTECTED + AFTER IGNITION ENGINE FUNCTION FUSE B1 0.75 55S ENGINE SPEED SIGNAL B2 0.75 M EARTH Will dig out the stalks later on.

The speed pulse is pin 13 on the righthand connector as you look at it with the dials fitted, its the red one iirc.

Yep exactly the same picked its up with a denon receiver a few weeks ago, and other than the fact that it takes ages to load a bluray disc (although I believe this is just a bluray thing) nothing to moan about so far. Does a pretty damn good job of upscaling dvds aswell imo.

If no other red lights are on only thing I can think of is if it thinks the engine is stood, but you've got a rev counter wired in etc haven't you?

What oils in it atm? As said it won't get any better, left to it own devices it'll either just get worse and worse until you'll end up double declutching, you'll loose the effected gears or if something lets go something will exit the gearbox casing with a bit of force (extreme but has happened).

Well if you get stuck i'm not too far away. Doubt its the relay as you'd loose both sides not just one but its worth checking.
