It wouldn't lock via the boot if that was the case.
The buttons can bugger up inside the handles. If one goes faulty it can stop the other from working.
The only way to diagnose is on clip looking at the various signals to the uch.
No it won't, sounds like the alternator possibly isn't charging properly in that case. You need to get the thing starting under its own power before you go looking for other things wrong really.
The connector is for the speedo transducer, which you don't have. Nothing to do with the starter.
Sounds like the starter motor, try giving it a wack with a hammer and see if it goes.
So presuming the seat bags are still the fault causing the light to come on, (it could be something else now tbh and a code read is the only way to see what).

I'm confused as to what the op is trying to do? Trying to fit buckets and fooling the ecu into thinking the bags are still there. Or trying to fix a general open circuit / connection problem?
If it is the connectors under the seats that's causing the light to come on, all you need to do is remove the connector from the loom, and solder the wires Perminanly.
Serv light is in conjunction with another warning light either airbag or abs normally. But sometimes comes on on its own if the engine oil is really low.
It's any door that's opened, not just the drivers door.
And holding the lock button turns the RAID off/on.
Sounds like the micro switch is faulty in the boot catch.
