Re: Mk1 172 Hybrid Track Car Project
It doesn't need the battery to read the immobilser code off the key i'm afriad :(, its only for the central locking.
Sounds a shitty situation tbh. Personally I haven't had any trouble over the last 2 years with them, haven't had to claim though so god knows what they're really like.
Very little would be my experience only paying £20 a month tbh. They'll offer you a new mid range phone and the same contract at a guess, the proof is in the pudding really.
Could be the ballast or the starter as well though, the bulbs tend to fade as they die. I'd just keep my eye on it for the time being, ideally you want it to die completely so you can swap stuff with the other side to prove which bits fucked.
Can't exactly remember cos its been a while but if you remove the centre console you might be able to fish it out of the footwell vents if its dropped into the bottom of the heater box.
Nothing, they're coded to the car so can't be reused really. And its one from either a cup or a lower spec model (authentique/expression) so theres no auto wipers/lights/trip comp/etc functions on it either.
Will have some resistance obviously because you're turning the gearbox internals as well, clunk is normal too unless its excessive.
If its fine stop being a hypochondriac!
Nope goes from the solid lines under the car to the solid lines on the beam not the one that goes to the calipers. Both ends of those are just normal flared ends.
About 40 sheets a week and somehow manage to do at least 200 miles a week even though work is only 10 miles away . Full tank will see 350ish normal driving, can get just over 400 on a run.
