mine used quite a bit up until its first oil cghange at 6K. You dont have to get this done but I did, and some others do. Never used a drop since.

I get this sometimes on my 182, you can hear it just before you switch engine off. Dont know what it is. and like you it doesnt hapen all the time.

dont lock it. can you not put it on drive/garage til u can get it looked at? also which sensor is setting it off, look at led see how many times it flashes?
