i didnt need the strut washers so gave the pair i bought to Has. no need for arbs or strut braces unless you fancy the looks of the strut braces. just make sure you get them setup properly and you'll be sorted.
yeah they come with elongated holes on the strut so you can vary the camber.
from memory viper motorsport are cheaper than that, and when i last rung 2modified could do a better price than that.
i think the grille comes off because its an optional extra in the higher specced cars. that or route them into the parcel shelf if your having problems.
i'm guessing it'll take a couple of days because once the front bumper comes off i'll go racing into the garage to get it polished lmao.
either that, or ill call mini-valver ;)
tbh it doesnt actually look that good in real life imo. if its a show cage it should have oversized tubing and look interesting, whereas it just looks like fairly thin metal piping thats been polished.
whats the easiest way of replacing the radiator on the 172. im guessing to remove the front bumper and go at it that way. or can you get to it comfortably from beneath ?
car is off the road, so if bumper remonval is more time consuming thats not a real issue.
they wernt made to fit, they just do fit lol. Pm russ9898 it was his car :)
what actual offset are they anyway? Tyre size doesnt really mean much to be honest
twas a good mod! adamhodg had it on his beast, might be worth sending him a pm as i know he no long has a clio so migth have this to sell.
Dont think i'd do another one to be honest as it was such hard work, if you wanna get real carbon fibre vinyl stuff try stewartsF1.co.uk he sells real...
I had KW V2s and imo, they were pish compared with the FKs. Also ran koni shocks and eibach sportlines which also didnt even compare. Got konigsports on at the moment and honestly cant fault them, especially for what they cost.
what did you not like about em Ali?
if your only 18 i'd imagine you wouldnt be able to insure all the mods that sport replica would bring anyway. Sports are getting so cheap nowadays theres no point in doing a replica
ive done about three sets of them now.
the easiest way is to use a sander like a B&D mouse. start off with 180 grade paper to get rid of the raised characters. then move down to a 240 grade paper on the mouse until its all perfectly level and flush.
then you'll need to hand sand them...
