i have yet to find a dealer, car or bike I actually like and trust.
Prob easier just buying the part yourself and replacing the silver strip. least then the dash doesnt get marked when they are taking the old strip off.
Which points do the dealers/tyre places use to lift the front end? I know they use the rear beam when leifting the back and can lift the whole back of the car by lifting the bean in the middle.
But the front? which points to use? the sills bend dont they?
when you sell the car add extra £1 to the price!
seriously though dont think there is any other way round taking the top dash off. Sure there was a guide somewhere on here for doing just that?

Lewy as above afaik it is common with the renaultsports for the suspension to sqeak and creak but my other dynamique I used to own never had that problem and not heard about it before on them.

I have a full size alloy 182 wheel at home with a tyre on it. If I ever get stuck someone will have to bring it to me.
Also have another 182 wheel but no tyre. Still after watching the rally last week that shouldnt stop me using it. ;-)
There are definately 3 ripples on the drivers door at the handle height looking down. Not dents but minor ripples. Must be there during fabrication process...?
a mate of mine with a 182 takes his wheels off to clean them but really is no need. You can reach behind them using the brush I described above and with a towel. Then use wheel wax and they shine and feel smooth.

did mine two days ago couple of pics here.
1)Wash and dry using auto glym bodywork conditioner shampoo and natuaral chomois.
2)Then move onto wheels using a brush from asda, very soft and a rag, also climb under car and clean inside wheels and exhaust etc.
3) Rain x all glass, gets it...
Steve get yourself to Asda and get a red handled wheel brush a couple of quid. Soft and lets you clean the 182 wheels fairly easily. Then give them a coat of wheel wax and they will look as good as new. REach round the back with an old rag to clean behind the spokes too.
;)
yes get it cupped.
Whenever I see a non cupped version (hardly at all) I wonder why they didnt opt for it. Maybe they are all cheaper imports I am seeing.
Although fair enough if someone really doesnt see the point of a cupped version and prefers silver wheels. But if they dont see the point...
like whats said above. CHeck the number of led flashes. In your alarm manual it gives a table. I think 1 flash means door/boot/bonnet and i think 3 flashes mean ultrasonics. cant remember rest
