Interested in a fix for this too, last winter my feet felt colder than usual, found the re-circ flap open and wouldn't close, just closed it manually and left it that way, but a fix would be nice.
Have a look under the handbrake cover on the inside to see if there is an adjusting mechanism. Also you need to put it in gear to stop the car moving, but then release the handbrake before adjusting it.
Could have asked that in the last thread mate!

How I do it, may not be the best method, but anyway:
I fill up the sink with HOT soapy water, take the cone itself off the silicone bend, put some soap over the foam and massage it in, then like a cup scoop the hot water into the inside with the idea that it will reverse out any dust thats been...

No you cant remove the headlights like you can on some glass ones, the plastic would melt in the oven and even if you do manage to cut them open I've heard of moisture problems when re-sealing. The most common problem is a haze on the outside of the lights...
Yeah auto lights, I have mine off. turn the ignition on and quickly turn the lights fully on and off twice and you should here a beep once you've done it correctly to tell you its off.
Is it really running on 3 cylinders or just feels like it?
If it is running on 3, it might be an injector, there's a test you can do, maybe ask the bloke you know to test those if all else fails.
Possibly the Lambda sensor? Looking up one for mine earlier, just a replacement as they get coked up and renewing can have some better running gains. there around 60 quid cheapest if so.
If not, possibly the coil pack, leads (Not sure if these fail as commonly as they do on non-sports), could...
