I was reluctant to make a thread as I've got quite far on my own but im having trouble with the steering rack bolts.
I have the lower 2 out completely, but there just seems to be no room to get either a 16mm socket on the upper bolts, and there is no room to get a ratchet spanner flat enough...
I'm far from an expert mate but seeing as it just dropped the temperature connection I would have a go at that first. And I think it would interfere with the running of the engine so get that changed and go from there.
£15 is what I paid for a second hand drum off ebay, just asked the seller if the drum was removed without any noises.
Still going strong 2 years later.
Ordered anyway from car parts 4 less
1 108746158 Pagid Handbrake Cable £14.34
1 108746168 Pagid Handbrake Cable £14.34
Hopefully they fit as above!
Cheers OP.

Thats the battery breather pipe, its just there incase the battery has to vent anything. just tuck it away up behind the arch liner, cable tie it if necessary.
Thats the lower arch liner, or splash guard I think its also known as, there is like a metal clip thats folded onto the plastic then a star screw goes through it.
Looks like the screw it in place, possibly the clip is still on the screw and has ripped off. have a feel on the lip.
There's a plastic ball socket inside, towards the front middle, so it can pivot up and down, if you take the light out and peer through the holes with the bulbs out you should be able to see the socket, you have to get your fingers through the holes of the reflector unit and try and pop it back...
The only reason I can guess a car is de-catted is from that lovely smell 😌
No there wont be any damage, its just purely because the cat is removed and not there to filter emissions which is its job.
Spin the rear wheels each, if its a wheel bearing as above the bearings are pressed into the rear discs, so just order a new set of genuine discs up and put them on.
I just tried inter parcel and with UPS its about £40 something inc vat.
I read the banana box thing, If I can get hold of one ill use that, otherwise ill have to build something I think.
Keep putting this off but I need to get it sent down asap, this 2nd hand box is leaking oil and now as well...
I know there are a few old threads knocking about for this, but I was planning to use paisley freight who it seems now must have the gearbox palatized and the quote I had was £80 quid. I would drive it down I cant be waiting about for it all day at the moment, so I'm couriering it down and...
Just a flat screwdriver underneath I think, Ive had original clips break off just by looking at them, failing that pliers or cut it off with a dremel carefully.
