So i went to Pipercraft today in Basildon to get the tailpipe done,it was a stealth system which i do like but you get that horrible drone/booming noise on motorways etc at 80mph.So i decided to get the tailpipe made up so it pushes away the sound rather than bouncing back up under the car.
Car...
Yeah i would like to get a set of 2118's at some point & like @DaveDreads said more choice in 195/50 & cheaper, also is the ride better to on 15's with 50 profile?
Any reason why do you think you cnat get AD08R's in 195/45/16?.
Ive been thinking of getting the s-drives soon,as i have Rainsport3's & not to keen on them.Side wall to soft & feel wobble if you get me.
Not many good tyres in 195/45/16 is there?.Only Rainsport3's/contisports/PS3's??
Yeah i may try them mate or Conti sports, but i have wanted the yoko AD08R's but dont do them in 195 i dont think, can only find the S-Drives in that size @182_steve
@Davyy i actually use Megs tyre Gel,works a treat!.i have some Auto Finesse stuff but gone back to the Megs.
It does mate!.hopefully looks like that on the road.
And @182_steve think i will keep them for the moment & just treat myself to a decent set of tyres,i have the Rainsport3's at the mo & to soft in the sidewall
Ah cool,i have been thinking if you can get coloured sear belts as would look good with the cup & that i need to change the passenger side belt anyway to.
How much of a job is it to change the belts mate? @BoostedSi
Haha your ok mate its good to hear peoples views, gives me a good idea. @BoostedSi
That does look good mate,i think mine would sit a bit lower to on the 2118's! @Dr Jekyll
Yeah he did say i could try his gunmetal turinis when he had them mate but doesn't have them now.
I reckon a nice set of summer tyres & drop the front on mine a tiny bit more,i think 195 looks best on the cup turinis??.so looking at yokos or continental sports
Well i have 195 on the front & 205 rear,as I needed two tyre's and wanted to try 205 but they look to balloon like & there Rainsport3's.
So thinking of some summer tyres that will fit the turinis, pos yoko or continental.
Its for road use no track days.
@Chris_Beer
Found some more photos of ideas etc.
May sound bit stupid but on the 2nd photo i just posted, any ideas on the tyre size,195 or 205?.as they site perfect how i would like my tyres to sit on the wheels.
We shall see,as still wont be for a few months yet.So just getting ideas in my head.
2118's are great, but that would be same old easy route tho.I wouldn't think it was so hard to find a decent 15inch wheel now days in the clio fitment.
I do keep thinking of banded steel wheels in a nice dark...
