As for coats depends on the paint and how thick the coats go on. I used approx 4 coats of base and 6 coats of pearl on andys badges. Depending on how thick th paint is i normally sit and chip it off, although to be honest all you need to do is prob lightly...
i paid 375 with a service, and cable throttle replacing (supplied my own bits) at my local renault specialist, that was for the cam seal replacing, to fix an oil leak where the oil was collecting under the rocker cover inb the recess's

they gave me the car back with a severly buckled wheel, so much so it was pulling all over the show and the whole car was vibrating, hence why i've had my spare on all this time. So got some compensation out of em, so decided to spend it wisely and get her mint, before buying something stupid...

coilovers arent worth the money imho. i considered them, and then dismissed them as for the best part of £600 the £450 highsports are just as good unless you really need the adjustability, then i'd look at spending a few quid extra on some variant 2 KW's.
i paint the writing on afterwards, takes me hours though as i'm a perfectionist lol!

john2modified sells loads of them so should do you a good deal. have a good reputation imo, but not on cliosport, as they are rarely mentioned when a brake change is considered. mainly because they're expensive for what they are, and the black coating is just novelty as it wears off
i use the poorboys professional, but the white one. works really well on my car with a microfibre pad, but you have to press on really gently or it does put stroke marks in.
halfords or similar for circa £10 depending what size tub you buy.
use a gentle, brass, metal brush to remove all the flaky material that gets stuck on them, and then depending on how smooth they are some emery cloth to smooth them off. but depends on age of car and condition of calipers...
dunno if a mk1 172 wheel is the same size as your mk2 one but my 320mm momo one is about 3-4 inches smaller in total diameter. if you wanna be pedantic i'll go and measure them lol
I like! i'm still not a huge fan of the 172/182 rear on a ph1, just think it makes it look a bit 'bulgey', but apart from that exhaust looks good, and car looks like a minter
