Just want to ask because im unclear my self, if you change the upper gearbox mount do you also support the engine from the sump? or under where the gearbox is?
Just phoned my local renault and for my 182 they want 644pounds and i asked about the dephaser on top and i quote "probably a couple hundred more or less so probably the 850 mark".

Edit: reading over it, i dont mean an invoice... thats what i dont have, theres a written agreement on the sales invoice "car to be cleaned and cambelt changed" and a stamp in the book and thats why im not 100%

Mines on 54k it was bought by the previous owner from a "country dealership" or a similar name, he spent fortunes on the car using Renault for the servicing and everything else, but the cambelt was agreed to be changed at the time of sale, probably by there mechanics, I will see when changing...
To be honest mate im not an expert, but if you ask most they will tell you dont drive it or just get it done asap... a lot of people are driving around cars with original belts for silly K miles, id just take it easy and get them changed as soon as its possible.
Sorry to but in, but also bought the car with a stamp for cambelt but not sure if its been changed so going to have it re done, and cant be sure the propper locking tools where used so will be changing them as soon as possible...

I was getting 30-31.5MPG when i first got the car driving urban, around town etc, my exhaust was blowing, I used silicone and a new clamp and gained to 33mpg, now with my new exhaust (rs192) im seeing anywhere from 33.5-35.5mpg, happy with the increase, want to give the car a service by myself...
I'm a bit out of the computer knowledge ring at the moment, I need a 2TB hard drive for my media storage, my OS drive is a 500GB IDE drive and current media drive is 1TB sata, so the plan is to transfer the 1tb to the 2tb and use the 1tb sata as my newer OS drive which should be faster i guess...

I had a nassssty rattle and when i had the exhaust changed over the other day i asked the mecahnic to see, the headshield around the silencer was loose, he turned one bolt about half a turn and the rattle has gone, get under the car and check all the bolts are tight.
Bilberry, i tried tardis... well i did one coat and ran out, it removed most of the tar, but the rest looks like brake dust on the inside, i think ill give them a scrub up, seal them with rim wax then get them refurbed in the summer.
