The silverline is f**king heavy, but its cheap and it works... well mine does atm, if your looking for reliability for future and constant use take advice about a better machine, but im still using mine after 2 years
Adding to things youve tried id take the rear clusters out, clean the contacts and spray penetrating oil on them,
Then behind the lights pulling the carpets away id undo each light earth and clean and secure those,
The if you havent where the battery is, the metal sheet dividing the engine...

Yeah i cut the top of the original knowing when it goes back to standard you wont be able to see the cut much because of the sensor will be back over it
And cut a notch in the back of the pillars and ran the sensors round the back.
Cheers
Ive got some Alcantara pillars covered,
The set ive got i can clearly see the sensor has been screwed like it was OEM onto the pillar and not clipped on top..
Taking the sensor off i can see the only way would be if i cut the wire at the back, slid it through the new pillars and soldered the...

Re: Clio dci 80
Coming along nicely this mate,
Just having a nosey after your PM to see if you have a project on the go and voila!
172 rear bumper would finish it off a treat,
Plain plates front and back would be cleaner though.
Looking at the rs192 too, around my price budget,
Yozzas are highly rated on here, but seeing as ive only just bought my 182, what prices are we looking at?
I want a nice note, not majorly raspy or loud, just "fruity".
Yep very easy job, explained itself, still took pictures for my progress thread however... definitely sounds a bit fruitier, only time will tell about performance.
Yeah i agree mate thinking about it, i know the whole door card would need dynamatting to sound half decent... ok yeah i forgot to say it was more of a rattle until i tightened the screws more, ill get some foam sheet and make some myself.
Im going to attempt this tomorrow,
So after ive got the archliner out and unbolted some bits and bobs... i should be faced with the acoustic valve... does this clip onto the end of the short air feed into the airbox?
So i basically just unclip the Acoustic valve and take off the tube thats...

Cant find what im looking for,
Suppose sound deadening would be the same but im not...
All i can say from experience is, small things are ok... but i did my 1.2 side strips twice and even though i took a lot of time and effort they where only presentable, if the sun shon, you could see the waves in the uneven laquer, even after wet sanding and polishing.
That was black paint...
