Im only heading towards Bosch because i guess its a better battery? or are the halfords ones fine?
Less i can spend for a decent battery the better if anyone has any links.
Ok, cheers mate,
Think i might go for the Bosch silver, £96.99 before trade discount... ill see how much it works out at, anyone know?
Otherwise it will be the boggo spec halfords, unless anyone can point me in the right direction?
Dont want it cutting out in the cold or with the extra draw...
Does it look like i have the original battery in my car?
Would guess so being Renault brand (its obvious yes but id like confirmation ;))
It cut out the other day on a cold start... will be getting colder soon, and im adding an amplifier in the boot...
So might get the trade card out down...
There was no vibration before, just a clunk into first which i thought was a sloppy dogbone...
But the old dog bone is fine really, i thought the misalignment was because of the way i had the car jacked up... i only noticed the drilling differences when comparing the photos and it all made...
Heres the comparison pic, im kind of eager to know why its been re drilled... or if i should change back to standard eventually, all im getting is more vibration.
Have a look at the end of this page please fellas... i remember seeing on the new dog bone the hole looked like it was filled and re drilled :S more inwards...
You can see an outline of where the circle is on the new mount, similar to the old one, but on the new its been re drilled further...
I think the engine was sitting where it wanted after vibration and what not over the last 52k its covered, with the original dog bone in place, wearing away slightly, and due to the way i had the car jacked when i took the old one off, when trying to place the new one in i was half a hole out...
Sorry for the bad wording did in a rush on the iPhone, exhaust is sticking on a cm more on the back, shall I undo the engine mount need to be pulled back a bit? Will sort the unneeded tension on the dog bone?
Changed my dog none in the 182, only one side was jacked and stands up in the air, I took the old One off no problem.
But when I put the new OEM on the hole that goes on the gearbox was about 8mm out, I jacked up the other side and also had to use a breaker bar to slightly line the hole up, all...
The use is for turbo'd cars i think, to do with cooling etc.
However some people think its cool to do it to everyday cars with a few random mods hoping people think it looks cool, only to not realise it looks like they've had a front end shunt.
Got exactly the same wrap in mine, flash does nothing for it, and its also a bit Marmite, but its great for a cheap and easy effect,
I think im going to spray all mine Amphasite with decals and a deep lacquer finish to them.
The airbag wont go off if its disconnected at the battery and left for 20 odd mins, there will be no charge in the unit hopefully.

See the airbag...
On the top of the airbag there is a flat bit of metal with square holes that the dash slots into, if you do anything but pull it forward you bend them and its basically locked into place,
you need to get a metal bar, see if you can see what i mean by looking with a torch... then get the said...
I think a coating of dynamat or brown bread... (or what ever preference you have with sound deadening brand) on the boot floor..
The parcel shelf makes a big difference to sound ive taken mine out a few times and makes the exhaust noise much louder and ive only got an OEM system
So covering...
Heres the alloys for sale:

and the springs...
M3 wing mirrors sound terrible.
The mods that people follow because they look good are (based on your car): clear side indicators, RS Grille, lowering, colour coding etc etc
I have lowering springs and 172 alloys for sale depending on how much you want to spend.
Once youve unbolted the rear diamond, you have to use a screwdriver to push the tabs out, the diamond is sort of plastic welded at the tabs, should either push back in snugly or use some silicone/glue.
The compressors on my 1.2 springs popped off the other day, had some tape on but not enough so they slipped, not under great tension although had i not aimed it slightly away from me i think i would have broken my arm!
Still hit me and had a nice bruise for a while.
My hands are in bits after...
