I've got an external hard drive that i would ideally like to be able to use on both PC and Mac for file transfer
I was originally reading that i just backup my external and then format it as MS DOS... this was on one site...
Now on further reading im confused and because i cant be arsed to...
Thats the phase 1 in that pic, i think some of them the fuel filter could be changed on the underside of the car under the petrol tank,
But on the phase 2s or newer ish models the filter is in built in the petrol pump housing, i think im right but may be wrong.
So i think he needs the new pump...
After a year of suffering and embarrassment with the squealing pig under my bonnet,
I have air con but on my granddads non air con clio i could see you slacken the alternator bolt through the belts, then use something to lever against the engine block onto the alternator which is how the belt...
Are you changing it because you need to ? or just because your serving the car?
From my time being on here i think im right in saying the filter comes fixed in the pump housing or similar and doesn't need touching till 150k (around there)
If it doesn't have any problems it doesn't need...
I remember the thread about a bloke stopping at a service station and mistaking NOS energy drink for a fuel additive ... that was a good read
If anyone wants to make a youtube video of a running engine with a £1 dropped in could be interesting :)

Well my grandad who also has a 1.2 calls me to tell me he has coolant pissing out, after a while with a torch that put out as much feking light as a candle in a jam jar we both with our minimal mechanical knowledge thought it was a head gasket problem, looking under the air box (1.2 engine) i...
I like them but i would have masked the chrome bit off the xenon pod, i think that looks great just the shape of it. <br>
If im honest the standard black xenons look fine and i wouldnt touch them unless changing the bulb colour, but its something different so hats off, especially if its a...

Remember seeing this a while ago, at that speed he was probably just pondering what type of wood his coffin should be made of, good correction thank god!
Anyone, its been asked a few times (when i searched) but lack of answers,
I know its simple... grease it, but which grease... and is there any way i can take the gear stick out easy i know people have for short shifter kits... but is this easy or an under the car job?
Bumping this up, when warm weather last year the ball joint on the gear stick was making a squeaking noise, i packed some grease that was lose round the edge of the housing back into the ball at the bottom of the gear stick..
Now its back, i tried some silicone grease which i think is too thin...
