Squeeky going into 1st and 2nd when hot.

Now the warm weathers kicked in,

When putting it into first or second the gear lever has a bit of a squeek, I think its just something a bit ungreased?

Ive put some grease onto the ball at the bottom of the gearstick and its slightly better.

Any other suggestions?

Gear oil is topped up to max etc.

Bumping this up, when warm weather last year the ball joint on the gear stick was making a squeaking noise, i packed some grease that was lose round the edge of the housing back into the ball at the bottom of the gear stick..

Now its back, i tried some silicone grease which i think is too thin even though its fairly thick and i have a constant squeeky resistance feeling, Shall i get some grease... im wondering what type... molly grease?

And put some more into it... is there an easy way to remove the gear (is it linkage?) so i can clean it and re grease it up?

Anyone, its been asked a few times (when i searched) but lack of answers,

I know its simple... grease it, but which grease... and is there any way i can take the gear stick out easy i know people have for short shifter kits... but is this easy or an under the car job?
