    bulb gone

dipped then. you need a pair of H7 bulbs. to get them out on the mk2 ph2 you have to pull a rubber cover off, and then twist the bulbholder. then you can swap the bulb and put it back in again. its explained in your renault manual better than i ever could

quicky!!! Need to disks all round. standard ones!!! which brand

if it was me, i wouldnt trust stopping my 172 on apec's lol is it a short term solution, or is it a cheap permanent solution? as a short term option then why not. but id be tempted to pay a bit more for some 'proper' brand if its gonna be a long term fix

    FBW --> cable. What parts?

think the mk2 ph1 1.4 had a cable throttle, so might be worth looking at that, but not really sure to be honest on this one. and no, you cant modify your electrical one

quicky!!! Need to disks all round. standard ones!!! which brand

original equipment. ive heard that halfords ones are a bit on the shite side, but never tried them myself so i cant comment, and i think its mainly the pads. if you can get ferrodo pads off them and some discs then cant see there being much of a problem

Insurance: 182 ff, 19 yrs old, no yrs nc bonus, 5 months driving

probably the best way. otherwise look at cars other than the RS which are alot cheaper for instance. i looked at the 1.8 Corsa C SRi. got 125bhp so its not mega fast but half the insurance cost. otherwise a nice VTS would be a good bet

its not going to give you any benefits, other than if you crash you wont lose any NCB (as you dont have any) and you'll "save" some money. if you want a RenaultSport before your 21 then you really need to have a least one years NCB if you want to keep your quote looking respectible.

    comp-s

8'' woofers wouldnt go in without cusom pods being fabricated as they're 5.25'' as stock. to properly install them you need to remove the top of the dashboard, and the door panels and run the wiring / crossovers properly.

CD stuck in normal Alpine CD Changer

if you've not missed the CD's in 12 months then i really wouldnt worry about it. i left a genuine CD in my cd player when i took it out, so just downloaded it off the net. screw intellectual property rights as i've already paid them my money once.

for me being under my dad as a named driver has worked out quite well. as a student i wouldnt/couldnt afford to pay for insurance in my own right so went under my dad. when i bought my 172 i was 21 with 0NCB and i paid 1250 with some mods on the policy in my own name. my advice would be...

thats cool, ill just be there from dusk till dawn harassing you. with tempted with the green stuff, but thought what the hell so tempted to go with the ds2500's as the car wont be getting used to go to work etc.

    bath time + new mod

airbags = gay ;) first mod to my 172 was to lose the wheel for a momo one, and would do it again in a flash. cracking car, with cracking mods!

    182 brake discs

will agree with edde about bleeding the brakes. am just about to change my front pads and discs when i get my car back and going for ferrodo ds2500's with probably high carbon brembo discs / brembo max and then some braided lines with the castrol fluid. as it did the job nicely in the last car...

whats your opinion of these lights??

^ yeah they are. i bought the other style, which are red at the top and bottom with a clear strip through the middle. i thought they were the genuine FK ones, but sadly not, and therefore the quality of them in places was questionable.

    my new ph1 172
