as edde says toyos are shocking, wish you could have driven her when she was on the turinis with yoko paradas, now they're tyres! as edde says roughly around those figures and you'll be fine
^ aye yeah, as i said to him though rich will it make a difference that the majority of the paintwork is pretty poor, for example theres only the roof and the bonnet which are original?
i would defo defo get the cambelt done without a shadow of a doubt, it just simply isnt worth the risk. As for clutch, that will be fine for maybe another 10k, but its weather you can put up with it for that long.
^ aye it has :)
to be honest i'm glad medici has bought it, i really get the impression hes gonna really appreciate it and look after it. I really regret selling it to the last guy, as i was convinced he actually really liked the car, hence why i let it go when i didnt really wanna sell it...
lol that would be mint would love to see the old car again! cant really help you on price, as i'm not really confident enough with my estimates, edde should be able to help you though ;)
^ yep sting the wallet in one big go lol. As has says defo get the cambelt done this year just to be on the safe side as it has a high mileage for its age
^ its not due for a service as i had it done before i sold it, but depends on what mileage hes done, as he said it had 50k, but i sold it on 50k which is strange ;)
^ if your with admiral insure it as interior changes, bloke did this for me and noted 'steering wheel' to avoid the premium, and i've crashed and am still insured ;)
when i had it the clutch was notchy, dunno if you've found this. Was biting fine but as you say quite high, get it looked at prob got a year or so left in it but if your finding it uncomfortable get it changed
as said on pm chips away wouldnt touch it, so its a full roof respray job i'm afraid :(
use scratch x for heavy scratches, poorboys polish for minor swirls as its really easy to use by hand
ah a man after my own heart, thats exactly what i do whenever i buy a new car full service. I always treated her to elf excellium, and really i wouldnt use anything less now. Could also do with a gear box oil change to make the gear box feel smoother. Just make sure if you supply your own oil...
this is the guy i use, normally has a massive galelry on his site with loads of different examples but cant find it at the mo. has a link ot the powerflow website anyhow
