Ok mate cheers i think ill keep them in and say i know if anything is mentioned, brand new tyres give the backup behind saying i had a nail and that caused the marks or similar.

Does it have a recovery partition?
If not i think there might be an option to burn a recovery disk in which possibly after you've burnt the disk it can re install a fresh version of the operating system.
Took my car down to my mechanic for another problem with the steering clicking and got him to have a once over of the front end, tyres and joints etc just things you cant see whilst under a simple jacked up car,
Already found out my drivers front wheel was a fail on the inside so thats being...
Is it both? put your spare tyre on? as long as the other 3 have legal tyre tread on the 3 quarters of the breath of the tyre (i believe that's how its worded) basically tread from left-middle-right then you'l be alright... if its 2 like that then its a risk on the road.
edit: ignore me i forgot...

TBH mate it might look fine but its whats going on inside that counts... get a second hand one and try that or pay full wack at the stealers... ive never had one apart but if there are any metal contacts that touch another clean it with a bit of wire wool or wire brush/sandpaper.

Cheers for the replys, he said it was somewhere in the column, i can hear it close to the steering wheel, im thinking the join at the top is very worn and is now clicking, its more noticeable to me now with driving normally just turning corners,
The 1.2 has no steering rack bushes its just...
So after hearing a click after changing my drivers track rod end i discovered a click/clunk around the drivers area, i thought it could be the steering rack loose, so i got under the car and couldn't get enough height to get a spanner slid through to the bolts nor a ratchet, so i took it to my...
