the remote stalk on the clios doesnt feel as soft when using the volume up/down buttons compared to the avantime or other luxury cars. Why would renault use different stalks for different models. They are the same I know but the buttons have different feels.
have you considered the Renault system. Mines a 1.2 dynamique too and had had the cat one system fitted before delivery. It uses the original key fob and is very reliable. Obviously non of the toys that the clifford has but its installed perfectly and you cannot see the siren under the hood nor...
im classed as "staff" working for Sunwin and sunwin own sunwin Renault so they give £100 free petrol to all staff who buy cars. Cr@p if you ask me so I made sure i got more free stuff than just that but free petrol is good too.
also the wee models are great!
Renault dealors know very little I have found.
But I am now going to my local Renault dealor for £25 worth of free optimax, and to pick up my Clio models.
anyone know of any decent make of alloy pedals which require no drilling and fit the latest clio?
I really dont want to have to drill original jobbies..
they are quite easy to get out if you get under car, did it today. they are however H11 like you said and they dont do any aftermarket bulbs yet, these are very new and only on a few cars.
oh well stick with the standard yellowish jobbies. :-)
Spoke to renault dealor. They can be changed by us. Get under car there is a clip a large circular thing in black pull that off and unscrew the screw near it a bit further back lift the plastic down then replace fog bulb as normal. will try soon.
in the comprehensive manual it gives details on how to change bulbs apart from fog lights where it says take to a dealor. I always avoid dealors whenever possible so is it easy can it be done at home, has anyone done it?
Its not possible to knack up the beam is it as Im not taking the lamp unit...
had my new clio upgraded with renault gold sheild alarm. whats the best way for me to test the ultrasonics in the car? it beeps if door/boot left open..
should I have a certificate? dealor said not, im going to phone him though as it states I should in manual. whats the certificate say/look like?
mauybe they give the standard carpet mats away with the 172 then? these are only £25. the ones for £50 definately have a heel pad. dunno if they say Renault on them though.
the 6 disc cd autochanger from Renault, I know it works from remote control but what features does it have? does it have random track play from all 6 cds? scan intros etc etc???
are these the premium mats in the brochure I have got these free with my car as part of the deal they say around £50, with a velour heel pad? do they say renault on them?
which ones are you using do they fit nicely on the Clios pedals? how do you actually secure them to the pedals then, and does all the kit come included? thanks, Liam.
Hi
you have same car as Im getting in next few days im collecting it soon. Just wondering if the 17" wheels you have upset the handling at all, is it lowered too?
also have you got any opinions on best exhaust and/or backbox for this particular car? does this affect warranty?
kind regards
Liam
