Some of those packets you get with new stuff in carboard boxes, That contain moisture catchers.
I think rice in a bowl absorbs moisture.
Or heat the car up for 15 mins then open the windows?
PMd you back.
Now ive read this i guess the solenoid hasnt gone, And youve possibly forgot to connect something backup, Or something hasnt been put back right.
Try and get in from the inside of the car and get the panel off, Then open the boot that way if you can.
As far as i can remeber they just rest on the caliper metal, no springs.
Ive seen clips that go at each end of calipers although it was for a VW about stopping ratting brake pads.
Although i agree they are ratting up and down i think shims behind the pads would secure them abit and stop them...
Its sad that you've declared things that the average wouldnt, I.e. how it left the factory have made them take advantage of that fact and rape you for it.
Ring different insuerers imo. Aftermarket mods declared, But factory optional extras really shouldnt push it up that much imo.
Im not a 100% what you mean by the carrier springs?
Ive never had any anti rattle shims come with any set of brake pads ive bought but im pretty sure they exist.
I think the little touches are cool, But not a fan of purple, Grey or black imo.
Also while your at it a little DIY wheel refurb on the alloys if your keeping them and some lowering would be bring it on a treat.
Weave is too pished for me, I know its a b*****d to get right on curves.
In the pics has the fibre just been layed? Hasnt got any laquer over it in the pics surely?
