Ah a typical reply by someone that couldn't be bothered to read the meet thread. The meet thread was posted on 18th September giving you over a fortnights notice...you even posted in the thread saying you were attending on the 22nd LOL. :rasp:
Whilst a more active area rep is probably needed...
Finally lol. I've been waiting f**king months for someone to be able to recommend someone!
Any before and after pictures of his work Steve and a company name?
I had this on my Ph1. Fitted Compbrake solid top mounts, poly wishbone and dogbone bushes and it's stopped. If anything I'd guess at top mounts moving on the strut turret, mine were rotten as f**k.
Tom can you link me to a helmet, track tyres and track day at Brands Hatch for £44 please? That's a f**king bargain! :rasp:
They see me Trollin', they hatin'...
Anyway
I'd bin off the CG Wet Mirror Finish and replace it with either CG Blitz or Poorboys EX-P.
Why are you buying two different...
A location might help people recommend someone/where local...lol. ;)
If there is an official CS guide you'd need to become a member to get access to that section of the forum, but off the top of my head I don't think that there is.
Only a rumour from the Blackberry nerd sites, so it could be wrong. But if you can wait, no matter what people are saying in this thread; the current Bold pwns the rest of the current range on spec and usability. The Bold 2/Onyx is the Bold but updated and much improved, no other Blackberry...
Thought that had data logging so that you didn't need to have the laptop in the car whilst out and about? Press a button on the dash to start the logging and press again to stop. :S
By the by anyway as so far I've only read of one person that's bought the premium version.
Connect the RST and fire it up your car. Then click on the performance ANALyser tab. Enter the weight of your car and go find a long flat and straight road. Get in third gear at sub 2k revs and hit the start analyser button and then floor it through to the limiter. Viola a graph.
Be warned...
Bold 2 is rumoured to be released next month on Orange... So I'd wait, it's only a phone at the end of the world.
I've dinted my Bold on the Bezel too, if I could be bothered I'd replace it...but I can't.
PMSL, some of us are "working". ;)
Good quality micro fibre towel. For example, my personal favourite, the Miracle dryer which you can find on the i4d site. I'd link you but the sites blocked at work. :(
It shouldn't affect the wax or sealant at all and won't remove any contaminants. It's literally just a glossing agent and used by most for either "topping up" the wax in between layering, as a drying aid after a wash or during claying to decrease resistance.
The kerb weight, AFAIK, is the actual weight of the car with all it's equipment and fluids in, possibly fuel too but I'm not 100% on that so just go with it being empty, and no occupants.
Gross weight, I think, is the same vehicle but with a car full of people and luggage.
No real formula, more a guess lol.
OE Kerb weight + me + full tank of fuel (roughly and no where near accurately 1litre = 1kg). 1200Kg was the figure I ended up at lol.
So do I need to revert back to the stock .rst instead of the group N? If I do, does the rev limit reduce back to the OE...
And if you read what I said I can't have an expectation as there is no change log, an issue I've flagged with you before; so I've no idea what improvements have been made. But in my own experience I can tell no difference from a performance point of view between this cal and the Feb 08. But...
I'm just going to run a glaze over it, throw a couple of layers of EX-P on and the same with Victoria collectors. Done.
If I get the weather/time/motivation I'll top up along the way.
Thankfully I'm still on OE mounts...at the minute. But this morning was fairly painless, even though it's been colder than any day for months. No kangarooing up the street like a n00b and the idle wasn't as rough. Dunno if it will stay like that as I remember reading something about the ECU...
ITG panel filter in OEM airbox with Samco 90 degree silicone elbow.
K-tec stealth exhaust system with centre silencer and cat still in.
Errrm RS Tuner group N map and Sept 09 calibration.
PTFE inlet gaskets.
And that's about it engine wise, that I can think of. Matched inlets will be the next...
Ok cal went on nice and smoothly with no issues, took the car for a steady drive to get it up to temp and then took it for a quick blast, did a couple of runs for the PA too.
Did I notice a difference? No. Did I expect to? No. lol
TBH it's all a placebo effect without knowing what...
