Who were all f**king knobs. Writing for a s**t magazine does not, I repeat, DOES NOT make you a celebrity. Annoyed the f**k out of me on Friday night.
And breathe.
Yeah that's the one with the Essex Boy reg I was on about, saw it when I came down the pit lane after my session...
There's a thread in the something/something else/insurance section. Do a quick search in there. But quickly I'll be going with MORIS or CCI.
And good on ya for tracking it. :)
There's a thread about this from last night or something, the answers and more can be found in there. ;)
*edit* PMSL I've just seen you've already posted in that thread...
You run the risk of cooking your brakes but it's not a
guarantee. If you go flat out and use your brakes a lot or very heavily then you've a lot more chance. You will more than likely suffer fade if they are standard jobbies and possibly need to replace them if they have covered substantial...
lol nice sales pitch Day. ;)
I've skinted myself this month so if there is any left for the CS session on payday I'll book on then, if not I'll just sign up for a normal n00b session.
Don't think I've seen the 106 blackboard thing. Sounds lovely though lol.
Ricky's a good lad, I've known him years. Bit difficult t'understand with him being proper yorkshire like lol ;). I've told him people are talking about his rusty AXe wound on here but I doubt he'll sign up, he's not...
Ring Brentacre mate. No other insurance company could even come close for me on my 172, Flux and Chris Knott were literally more than double. Although that said I have a feeling Brentacre don't like 20 year old drivers...still worth a phone call.
J4X WR or something like that was it? If so I passed it, twice, when it was parked up near Eastwood and saw it in Underwood on my way back from Alfreton.
lol I've just spent the past 20 minutes reading that site and binned it off in the end. I'll give MORIS or CCI a ring closer to the time. Might even give Brentacre a ring, my insurer, and ask them if they can do it.
Ricky is already confirmed and I'd assume he will be bringing his mostly Saxo filled entourage. Mish off of here has said she is going and I'd guess Kirsty and her mate will be going too.
I'm already booked and now have about 21351351368436186 FCS 09 stickers after the weekend. No means no...
The lad in the Rat AX is my mate Ricky P from Wakefield way. He was having issues with fuel starvation over 5,000rpm so took his **** Saxo out for the other sessions.
I was out the same session as that three door black Cossie, which was f**king rapid, and the stripped out and caged Mk4 Golf...
I'm with them too. Amazing customer service and best price I could find.
Same 180bhp policy as above. Beat Flux and Chris Knott by literally £100s of pounds, near enough halved their quotes and offered more TBH.
PMSL what's confusing?
Anyway as it all says on the form:
1) Surname
2) First name
3) Your nationality
4) Your email address
5) Your home address
6) Which country you're from
7) Your telephone number
Participation country is England or UK (depending on how you feel)
Model is the model of your...
I'm at, as I booked back when the FCS dates were released lol, the Premier Travel Lodge Inn type place on the A43 in Corby as it's the closest to Rockingham and I'm lazy.
I've never seen good results yet from a touchup pen lol. Fair enough they may of been the result of ham fisted morons...but even still that's enough to put me off for life and let a professional deal with paint issues lol. I didn't mean a colour match btw, was on about blending it into the panel...
Personally I wouldn't even attempt to touch up the paint on mine, no chance of a match and it will just look more of a mess than the scratch/stone chip/damage.
Depending on what it is you're trying to sort I'd speak to a professional. It may even buff out with a DA session.
I'm going to buy 5l of Bilberry (along with a hand bottle and foaming chem resistant head) once I've got my wheels refirbed and they've cured properly. I'll then clay, polish with SRP, seal with EGP and hit them with a couple of layers of wax. I'll get some proper wheel sealant once I've...
