Time for another cost update...
Mileage now is just over 24k, second service is booked a couple weeks from now, a front suspension knock and a driver's door seal that's come unstuck will need attention, other than that it's spot on. Starting to lose the tautness in the drive train now though as...
He he. Throw on some wind deflectors and a triple-R splitter and a build no. sticker and some mountune side-splash decals and split your headlights and paint them black inside and you're properly in the 'club' ;)
Having said that I'm being strangely drawn to these bulbs...
It should be OK, but keep regularly checking them visually just to be sure. So long as you stop as well as you should when you press the middle pedal, be happy.
I went through three sets of calipers on my 172 from this over 100k miles.
Wear in the sliders was allowing half of the caliper to rock a little giving the vibration but only when they were very very hot and being used very very hard.
Under normal use, like you, I had no issue at all.
I...
I find it at least on a par and arguably a little better than either of my Clios (172 and 200).
I'm still almost 100% rattle free after 24k miles pounding along broken country back roads, carpets still look good, leather shows no sign of age, everything's still tight and taut.
The best bit for...
That's all well and good but we know that CS law dictates you must stop immediately without any consideration of your own safety or that of vehicles coming around the blind bend/over the crest.
That was a proper heart in mouth moment.
When I mount mine I just use blu-tac glu-dots. No outer case needed, just stick a few on the base of the go pro then stick it in place, holds it firm enough for a track session, then you simply pull it off and roll the glu-dots off.
I had a go pro sticky pad mount on the steering wheel cowl on...
There's an exhaust due for release soon and you can already get their intercooler and induction hose...we're all just waiting for the map to go with it.
They recently said September release for the 'stage 2' so it's expected a few months from now.
Exactly the same seat but you can get full leather in the focus. Partial leather only on the fiesta, orange like mine and grey like this one. Only grey with red or blue body colours though, choice of either with black, white, and orange paint.
Can't say I've noticed the wheel thing not being level at all.
Being a true pedant, aside from the sat nav, the audio system is the same for ST2 and ST3...both of which are a Sony unit and of a higher spec than the non-Sony that's on the ST1.
Looks very nice!
You've got the earlier limit rev-counter (red before 6.5k). Makes no difference at all...but there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to which one you get!
Inappropriate courtesy...there's barely any scenario where it makes sense to slow down and/or stop a line of fast moving main road traffic to let one individual out. Inconvenience everyone behind you to do a good deed for one person? Just no.
I don't even flash from afar, I may ease off to...
As a passenger only, yes.
I went to Goodwood thinking that if I had bought one a year ago I'd be really p***ed off.
I left thinking that if I had bought one a year ago, I'd be really p***ed off with everyone that wouldn't listen or give the car a chance.
I've driven 100s of laps around...
Here's a back to back comparison of the audio before and after. The audio level showing in my video editing software gives the 'after' a definite edge...to the tune of approx 0.6db. I think you can notice it, right at the top of the rev range...
