Re: I Just Got a Emense Deal On A 182
Looks a nice example.
Low mileage is excellent for the cars age.
Get the belts done if you can and enjoy driving it.
Best thing would be to take them back surely?
Worth getting it done now that going back later and them saying its too late.
Do they come with a guarantee?
lol. I did think of the door handel idea, Read about it somewhere before. It took some effort getting the sump plug out, Dont know who tightened it up to tight.
Feels so much better to drive! Is this normal, Or am i feeling a placebo effect?
Just changed my oil on the clio, Put 5w40 Fully synthetic in.
Took forever to get the sump plug out. Had to buy a 10mm square plug because thats all they had and dremel it down to 8mm to fit!
Nightmare.
Still its done now and feels much better to drive. The oil was thick black, Needed...
Ive brought 5w40 fully synthetic. £34.99 for 5L in halfords.
Could have got 10w40 semi synthetic for £21.99 but thought id treat the car lol.
Would have changed the oil today but halfords didnt have my filter in stock, So will have to order it from Renault tomorro.
Ive had a bit of this before, I do short journeys. But wiped it off and did only long journeys for a while to see, I didnt get it.
Doing an oil change in the next few days as well.
Big improovement, I was bored. So hope you dont mind me lowering it in photoshop lol!
Im not sure if these estimates are right but ive tried 35mm and 60mm lowering. ( i think the 35mm is more like 45mm?)
35mm
60mm
Grill and lowered will look nice as you've said.
I would take the billabong sticker off the sides, But up to you.
And new alloys would really transform the car imo.
Open the door, push hard.
The door ones push to the outside of the door.
Right side push to the left, Left side of the car pushes to the right.
The rear quater ones push to the door side
Right side to the right, Left side to the left.
Just put in nightbreakers until it gets lighter in the evenings in the summer.
My white bulbs are good and work well, But i just want that extra bit of vision.
The nightbreakers are definatly orange compared to my white sidelights, But if your not bothered about all that then there definatly...
Ive got this on my car, Sounds like the front left or back left wheel, Jacked up.. No signs of rubbing, No leeking shocks or broken springs.
Front left wheel has a bit of play left to right, Think the wishbone or ball joint might be nakerd. Although it was replaced last year for mot. Bloody...
Also worth putting the can in some warm/hot -ish water for a few minutes, Then give it a propper shake. My colour match came out ok with cans off the shelf, All be it not perfect.
