how to stop the airbag warning light when removing seats?

It's a different ECU you ninny. There's no messing with the ECU, it's s totally standard procedure to reprog them. I've done it plenty of times.

    EPAS on 172 Cup

Looks like the tube isn't correctly put in to the pinion casing. As you say they should both be at the same angle.

Back in a 182 again, yippee.

Yeah it's not too bad. Will be sorting out the cat fitting kit this weekend and getting rid of the hideous blue interior light! Was actually mapped by k-tec. Having looked through the SH one of the previous owners spent a lot of money there getting it serviced and having a few bits done. Map...

update list stereos are canbus, tunerlist are not. That should answer your question! Only 2005 model 182 are canbus radios.

Back in a 182 again, yippee.

This ones a bit rattler than the one I have on my dci but it's way better than a standard 182 wheel, thicker and closer to the driver.

Back in a 182 again, yippee.

Picked this up last night as my dci is on its last legs and probably won't make out summer holiday without total failure. It's my third 182 and I plan to do nothing to it but certainly nice to be back in another one. Needs an oil change, the tracking sorted and a cat gasket. Spec Poly bush...

Graham's OCD ph2 DCi sport rep

The time has come, this is now for sale as I've got a new car. £900, can be driven no problem, I'm still doing 1000 a month in it but needs attention to the fuel system. Does use some oil. Sometimes needs easy start to turn on when hot. 158k now I think, Mot until September :)

60% premium increase to change where my post is sent!

Some of you may have seen me post this on CSOC. I keep my track car ages away from me at a friends house in the countryside. I've recently moved to London and called up the insurance company to let them know the storage location of the car has changed, no problem, no policy price change. I...

    Racing seat fitting help ?

I've got the normal OMP frames and I'm happy with the height they sit at. I got them from ybracing with a discount code on their site for about £85 or something. On the left is a base mount seat bolted directly to the subframe. The right has a slider and is a sidemount seat. I actually found...

Airbag light- a permanent fix for those with buckets or aftermarket wheel

I personally prefer to reprogram the ECU so the airbags aren't in the system but the light still comes on and off for MOT. Takes anyone with clip a matter of 2 minutes to do.

    The £600 Cup Track Build

I'd look through the diagrams to find which of the wires is a live, ground and then find the specific control wires last. What a total pain though I agree!

The 'Where's my old Clio' Thread.

I remember your car from working at Century Place. It was my friend who had the other blue 182 in the car park which I later ended up buying. From what I remember years ago I saw yours for sale with a busted gearbox but that wasn't long after it was sold.

    Red immobiliser light staying on????

I can't actually remember exactly which one it is but in the fuse box there are three small black relays which all look the same. By removing them one at a time and looking at the dash you should be able to tell which one is the immobiliser one. They are interchangeable so swap them around or...

Graham's summer 172 cup track car

2016 Update MOT epic fail this morning! Last night we went at picked up the car from the barn it had been laying in for the last three months. I knew the cover had blown off before I got there and I was of course expecting the tyres and battery to be flat. It fired straight up though and after a...

    Clio Extreme to 172 conversion.

I started with pretty much what you've got. The colour isn't a sport colour though so the panels need spraying to match. A lot of cost involved! Personally I would do a wide track conversion so it handles like a sport but spare your money and don't do the body work. Widetrack was easily the best...

    Parts for turbo build

I've been discussing this with @AlexW. There is so much debate about this on the net! Still can't work out whether it's a good idea or not. Technically exhaust energy shouldn't change! Maybe a separate thread required for that one!

    Shared Ownership of a car

The above is exactly what I had. It was with my best mate but in the end it was always going to be one person driving whatever work or costs there were which was a pain. Parts for turbo build

@punk_rallye got a link to something or is it as simple as a flanged SS nut? Just don't want to have to keep doing the buggers up as it seems to be a common problem. @masekwm My bad typing. I had the initial downpipe down as TRW but the linkpipe for 182 manifold as ED. Is the shipping dear? 150...
