Again, not a wax BUT if your after a really good polish that is a liquid i'd give Autobrite Cherry Glaze a go, I've found it's really good stuff and when used with some Autobrite Elegance spray sealant over the top, the result is awesome....... very very smooth!
Coolant bottle and type D is on the list for when it next gets serviced  as stupid as it sounds, never thought of that with the air-con pipes! That is something I'll crack on with next......... seen some of the inlets people have on here and oem looking fresh silver is the way
Have done a bit more cleaning today, concentrating on the under bonnet which, to be honest, was the only really dirty part of the car! There's still more to do (as always!) but it's really getting there now and a massive improvement on what it was, i'm especially pleased with the underside of...
Looks a great example and I agree, the Recaro stickers look good! Its the little touches that make the difference sometimes
BTW, that phase 1 looks awesome!!
One thing I've noticed on the car, although very small, is that the original 'Renault Elf' sticker is missing from the rear window......... I went on the hunt for one on eBay and came across this listing for anyone interested...
The pedals are still the originals (as far as I know?), I just buffed them up with Autosol metal polish...... the photos I posted are before and after! But i'm happy you thought they were new
Will bear that in mind
You know what, these are REALLY growing on me!! I was looking at Turini's before I even had the car but for now, going to keep standard......... oem yooo! 😂
So today I've spent all morning doing what i'm calling my French Car Show prep (as i'm working all next week)...... it's only had a good coat of Autobrite Cherry Glaze, but when I say a good coat, its had every panel buffed, lights, number plates, badges, inside of doors, inside of boot and a...
What an interesting read, i'm a bit new on here so had to start from page one and catch up from the start haha but top work on this, it really does look stunning with the wheels all done etc and that engine bay is EXACTLY how I want to get my Arctic 182 looking eventually, little things like the...
Ahh ok, must have been one very similar! There was about 20 there as said......... as for the downgrade 😂 I wasn't that impressed with the Civic on track to be honest and the Clios, although several were stripped and caged, flew round, made me look like a Type-S not a Type-R lol! So...
Awesome photos :up::up:
Did you do the track evening at Snetty on the 11th April? Sure I saw this car there and about 10 other clio's! I was in my cosmic grey ep3 type-r.......... now sold and I have a 182 lol!
Agreed, think i'll be doing the same over the weekend  ........ mats are from Renault, they have normal ones for £25 ish, much better 'plush' ones (mine) for £40 ish and then the Renault Sport ones for £65 ish...... I didn't want the Sport ones tho due to the silver trim around the edge
You know it  lol!
Saw you mentioned about speakers as well btw, this is what I've just had put in mine just in case it's of interest, sounds amazing and has a skinz kit (sound proofing) in both doors too... all in my project thread
Yeah that's the thing, has to blend in  I didn't want a bling bling all flashing one in mine either so actually had my old Alpine fitted that doesn't have USB or even AUX but i'm old skool with cd's 😂 so it's fine!
Great progress once again
Just had all the stereo changed in mine and does make a big difference doesn't it, i see i'm not alone in having to have the steering wheel controls working haha........ that Pioneer is actually very similar to the one I have in my 'daily' car, is a decent bit of kit!
Is this the time to make it a keeper if you've sold it twice and bought it again?
Think i'd find it very difficult to buy an old car back, when someone else has had it...... unless its just the same!
Have gone full OCD on the interior this morning, I mean it wasn't that bad to be honest and was very presentable which makes a nice change when buying a new car... this is why it wasn't a major job! All I needed was some clean microfibers and my Autobrite Pink Sheen interior cleaner and...
