Sweet, A pair of discs are around 34 quid from brakepartsinternational, so ill order them up soon and get the pads. Might install them myself. Havent done brake before so i might just get a garage to do it.

Are there any Mintex pads that would fit a 1.2 16v? The feredos are like 50 quid ? Anywhere else cheaper? I wouldnt mind some better than standar pads under 25 quid. Cheers.

I was going to post this a few days ago but forgot. I find when parked, Putting the clutch down and then puting it in reverse slowly it dosent crunch. If i do it fast it crunches. Even at a standstill. Putting it in reverse after just stopping crunches like hell. Wish it wouldnt. Only cure...

Standards do me just fine, I dont really speed. I drive fairly fast but not silly speeds and i always stop in time. The only reason i would get groved discs is because they look great. But ive hear they whistle and sometimes crack.

In a warm bowl of water, Take it out, Mould it flat. Use soapy water as lube. Rub back and fourth. Some areas may have no contamination, Some (like the bumper) there will be tar spots.

Goin to order my standard brake discs and pads soon. Not having any luck in my older thread. Can someone confirm the discs for my car would be 259x21? The other discs are 238x20, So i want to make sure i get the right ones ;) Thanks.
