Ahh adding to the above the tyres were brand new rainsport 2s and have only done 2k! It would be easier to list the parts which haven't been replace ;) Will give my 172 wheels a go though definitely.
What would you be looking for on the wishbone? The ball joint is in good condition and doesn't...
Yeah sorry Steve, let me explain a little better. The car pulls to the left if you forceably keep the steering wheel in the same place. If you lightly hold it the pull is severe and causes the wheel to turn clockwise which keeps the car in roughly a straight line, when I let off the brakes it...
Yeah, it was all brand spanking new in April and refurbed.
I read around on the net and thought it may be a collapsed hose so have got one in the post!! If it is that rejoice. If it's not that it's the solid pipe from the abs pump or the pump it's self
I'm sure one of you boys will snap these up

I haven't checked but the symptoms are exactly the same. Steering wheel moves of it's own accords and if I hold it in place and brake the car flies to the left.
Okay so I've done a few more things but this problem still exists.
Bled the brakes, no difference.
Swapped the caliper piston over with a spare I had, no difference.
Could this be master cylinder/ABS pump related? I have no idea so am after help on that.
It think I wrote down my thoughts wrong!
Easily get the quoted 65 but at the moment it's 57 as I've left late every day this week and am desperate to get home at the end of the day. Never seen it worse than that figure.
Ha thanks mate. It's very very reliable considering it's driven flat out up and down the motorwary 5 days a week. Only broken down once in the last 35k and that's because I put the engine cover on wonky which rubbed a hole in the fuel line. Change the oil loads and run 2 stoke in the system and...
Yeah I gave up. I'm pretty sure we both have quite a lot of experience of this situation.
Standard "insurance trying to mug you off" views. There are a lots of arguments people are making naively on here and without founding.
That's just what happens matey. You'd be surprised at how many fraudulent claims you get coming up to Christmas when people are short of cash. If it's all good and well it should only take a few days to confirm.
We used to offer cars back to the owners or often would sell them on and offer a...
Thanks for the tips everyone. I was going to get them done at a powder coaters but want the centre caps to match which of course is a little more to ask and don't know if they would do repairs like the specialists. Am doing a test out with cans on a spare alloy in the garage so will report back...
Never had any in the dci unless I'm specifically taking about my car and then it goes "it is really a diesel"
The 182 got "you need to get those brakes checked out mate" when it had rc5+
We should all admit no one takes a second look at any clios bar the v6
They don't mate. I used to have people saying this all the time but when they added up all the work they could do it cheaper using new parts. Parts and paint is where the cost lie. Labour is very often less than £25 an hour.
Which ever insurance bodyshop you go to they will use audatex or...
Yeah they'll likely be able to do a mobile estimate. Make it clear that you don't want it a t loss if that is what you want. On non fault claims the labour rate charged is more than the garage get paid as they rebate part of the cost to the AM company. No-one bar the car owner really looses in...
Most places will be able to estimate cars from pictures. I never viewed one customers car in the flesh to come up with rough costs!
Just seen accident management. Their labour rates and lack of parts/paint discount will kill it in a second
How so gally? In the 3500 cars I've written off I've never seen upto 100% repair unless there was no salvage value and If there was no value we would dispute the claim as 0% isn't the market rate!
you can avoid it being a write off by getting a repair estimate yourself. Ask them for the repairable/write off threshold (usually around 65%) and then make sure your estimate comes it no more than that figure. The garage you choose will need to agreed the repair costs will be capped but that...
I'm really not sure where you get your info from but that's not the case. Door opening is a case of disputed liability and will be decided between the 2 insurance companies and likely 100% fault of the person who opened their door with CCTV like that.
The only circumstances where it's usually...
External temperature sensor on the left wing mirror. Can wire in a new one but it's much easier to buy a second hand wing mirror and swap your cap over
I've finally got a set of Turinis for the Clio. Currently they're silver, couple have paint flaking. I'm looking to spray them all anthracite and am considering 2 routes of home refurb.
I've got p38 and some Metalik filler for the curbing marks and can get all the sand paper I need.
Do I go...
I will second fogfight. It's very good. With the ignition on can you hear the recirc moving. I've never heard of them going. Mine also mists up rather easily an I have no idea why. Guess it's my wet shoes on the mat. When I'm going along though I have no problems. Just when starting off.
I like it that this quickly turned from a budget track car into a full blown addiction so quickly. I had this with my 182 so can't allow myself to buy one now :(
Looking cool buddy.
Stealth pipe is a 2.5" bore so is naturally more boomey. My 182 was a 2.25" bore so raspier and without a mid...
Update list. Was originally tuner list but changed over a while ago complete with all the wiring, stalk controls, display etc.
edit: I did it because originally I thought I had to use a different display for the climate control to work. I didn't realise the tuner list clock had a temp output also.
