I wasn't no. Am desperate to do a track day soon but don't think the DCI would be up to hammering round brands at the moment!!
It's a lovely 200, good spec too. Just needs black speedlines ;)
The above clearly doesn't make sense. I've had it over read as well. I just accept it's pretty good on fuel but don't worth too much about the odd mpg here and there. It works out as about a quid or two per tank which isn't worth the fuss! Cars with newer injectors do seems to have more accurate...
Ohh yeah I know I imagine it's never done in the life of most cars. I can't weld which is a bummer so the dash would have to do and realistically would suffice.
only issues to overcome now is the abs! Maybe a ff would be better. Will have to see how much I've got to play with. A 182 would be...
Yeah the chassis number is stamped under the seat, on the chassis leg. The dash one as you say is a complete dos. I don't want to do any chopping really in case it isn't above board and I don't want to be seen to deliberately conceal the identity.
Looks like the points works mainly with the...

Cheers Dan, very kind of you.
When you say swap the chassis plates, do you mean on the log book? of course they are stamped in a few places on the shell. This whole business of "original axles" is all a very outdated law that is really only relevant to land rovers and cars which have...
Evening chaps.
I put in my project thread earlier a little idea I've had. I've got a pretty battered clio DCI which I'm hopefully getting rid of in 6 months or so but though of keeping it if I could make it a little better. The body work is dented all over as you can see in this thread...
The horns are pretty terrible on these. I'd make sure the earth contact is really clean and put some copper slip on the contact and bolt to make sure it doesn't corrode and the connection is good.
Maybe the horn is temperamental. They're fairly cheap to replace :)
Ahh the Van's fine now. Just needs the leaky driveshaft repaired properly.
General clio update.
Lauren's DCI passed the MOT after a couple of bit. I ended up changing the ABS ring in the pitch black and was shaking I was so tired, not an experience to be repeated any time soon!
I've had an...
To add a bit more detail to Dans reply. To take the cover off you'll have to support the engine and remove the left (facing the car) engine mount. 3 x 16mm bolts and 1 x 16mm nut.
Does the dash show anything?
It wouldn't be worth it, probably break even or a couple of hundred profit if you were lucky. It's got no mods that people want so bar the trophy bits is just as difficult to shift the parts of as any other 182
