You can lift the plastic scuttle panel in front of the passenger wiper to gain access to pull out the washer motor, mine was whirring and only a trickle of water came out, just change the motor. Got mine brand new from eurocarparts for £13 and took me 5 mins to fit.

FYI, I bought a whole new Regulator a couple of years back from GSF or eurocarparts for approx £50. you'd be better off doing that than buying a £35 kit tbh?!

There's a t25 screw under the plastic cover then the whole thing pulls up from the back and out. Obviously disconnect the wiring harnesses too.

Your 172 will look shite without dual optics. The duals aren't that much more from eBay, think I have a spare in the shed. Would be easier than messing about with wiring!

FYI took mine to bluewater today and they swapped it straight out, home button feels much more responsive as does the wake/sleep button.

I think the app is better, nicer ui and I think there are some better options but can't remember what. Which I know isn't useful lol
