Temp adjustment takes a reading from the headlining temperature sensor in the light unit so try a different one. If you have a coolant leak in the heater matrix you would know as it's in the passenger compartment and your footwells would be wet
Don't know on the rear window as I also have the same.
The head lining does have a bead of adhesive on the large panel section at the back.
Also to confirm the clips for the grab handles are just crap and are nearly guaranteed to bust up.

Volvo/renault 5 bracket no longer available so you will have to use a 172 cup alternator set up and a 5pk847 belt
Thank you. I would buy the whole lot, ecu, uch etc so that stuff would be okay. I didn't know if the ECU would "learn" so to speak and adjust for the slightly different turbo and injectors
What are the differences in the mechanicals? If the dci 65 can map to 90 bhp is it possible to put a dci 80 ecu in a 65 and just program in the injectors like you normally would with an injector change? That's what I'm thinking anyway!
Re: DCI 65 pov spec commuter OEM+
boom Mine was a leak in the fuel line which meant there was air getting in.
Thanks for the offer Alex. I've just got it all working now. Wish I'd known before!! Would have saved me some cut knuckles and a heap of heatshrink! Where do you get your looms from...
Ohh hello!
My car wasn't custom mapped when it was fitted. The ktec wheel is made by a company called TTV racing who do all sorts for hundred of cars. Should have said mate and I could have chucked in my clutch for you, it was only 20k old...
Re: DCI 65 pov spec commuter OEM+
How odd. I'm not entirely sure then unless I'm reading the diagrams wrong. The 182 had the external temperature input wire going into the clock display which is the only place the temp sensor wires go.
It's 1125 on this diagram and listed as central...
Re: DCI 65 pov spec commuter OEM+
AlexW it's an output of the clock display "central communication unit" which cars with the red and grey plug clock unit don't have. The 182 unit has 1 plug with 24 connections.
As suspected now I've wired in the new display the radio functions don't show up on...
Re: DCI 65 pov spec commuter OEM+
Fitted the new climate panel today which looks a ton better and is in great condition.
Had a couple of teething problems with the climate control. Having mended a broken climate pack it then busted again because the resistor got too hot (I hadn't located it...
Bradaspinall Remove the door card, screws in the door handle, grab handle, speaker surround and bottom. Pull from the bottom, there is sealant around it so you have to pull pretty hard. Once the door card is off the motor is clearly visible. Easy job should take 15 minutes if you don't do this...
Under the heater matrix there is a drain valve with often gets mud in it. You will need to take out the heater box to access it. Remove the black bulkhead panel in the engine bay, 3 bolts around the heater box and 2 accessed from the interior under the dash.

Simon_16v even more of a bargain http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281257289440?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 if you get me.
IT'S MINE NOW MWAHAHA
The UCH (body control module) is the clicking you can hear near the gearbox. This could be your troubles.
If it needs replacing a genuine one is about £400 from memory.
Second hand will need coding to the key. As you have auto everything you would need the n-3 UCH.
Get it plugged in first and...
Re: DCI 65 pov spec commuter OEM+
AlexW I would have done exactly the same as you if I'd had the money because this was is a complete PITA. Fair amount of wiring to do the bay side of the car as well.
For a free mod I'm pretty chuffed!
Got hold of a normal climate panel now so I'll fit that...
Re: DCI 65 pov spec commuter OEM+
Agree about the buttons. I'm looking for one without the horrible texture on so it matches the rest of the trim.
Boost pressure sensor broke today so had to unplug it for the drive in!
