No m8. The limiter seems to coming about the same point on the strip, but I am going faster by this point, but as it pulls better thruogh the gears, changing to forth aint to bad....apart from the loss of time thru actually changing gears lol
lol Ive done nearly 6000miles in 3 months and mine are wearing rapidly, mostly on the edges (gotta love them roundabouts!) Didnt think they were too bad, at least not after the understeer of the 5 turbo!
Which tyres would you recommend?
Being a Cup driver myself, its not the poor cars fault that a dick has bought it. Hell learn when he writes it off, just hope no one else gets hurt in the process:)
Too right m8! ;). Its always nice too have a big power gain, but it isnt the be all and end all!
Mine only pulled 167.5BHP with the R-sport ECU but it was much quicker over the 1/4. ( 15.09 compared to 14.41 )
65 - 8 BHP...thats quite a range m8! lol
If I was to get a cat back, would I be able to get the Ktec sports cat fitted on after?

Im after a nice exhaust system, with decat for my Cup. Any ideas where Im best going for it and how much itll be.
Spoke to K-tec but there doing tests on a racing cat at the mo which is going to be about £250!

Not 100%, but doesnt the Cup have Hydraulically assisted steering? Not as light as true Powersteering in the 172 so the tramlining would be less noticeable
I have a Pipercross ind kit on. Probably better with out but sounds very good and with a 14.41 I dont think its doing any harm!
Bought my ECU from Rsport in Wimbledon. Do a search as there is plenty on here about em. Fitting is easy, apart from removing the first cover, and the difference is...
