That bug and tar remover is good but it tends to get everywhere where you dont want it to so spray it on carefully or apply it to a cloth before you attack your car with it!

I use whatever I can get my mitts on, I dont notice any change in performance or mpg, but then again Im not really that fussed about it tbh.

I got a can of Tungsten Grey Renault paint thats sitting in my garage, from when I had my Mark 1 RT. 99% sure its the same colour as yours, if ya want it send me yer address and Ill bung it in the post for ya, as itll be going in the bin otherwise when I move out in a few months!

My Mk 2 172 was 8K, but that was a few months ago and had around 21K miles on. Bit of a rarer colour compared to the others, at the time I saw Mk 1 172s for 5K, like people have said above, 172s will be going for 4K I reckon in a handful of months time. Also an engine conversion in my books...

Cheers for the cleaning tips Liam and brazo, trip to Asda is in order later on! Ive got too many tar spots and stuff on my 182 wheels at the mo. I usually take my wheels off now and again to check everything is ok anyway and so blitz them when they are off.

Is the cup lower or is it just me? Is that how it is from standard? Both sweet looking motors by the way, how on earth are those wheels that clean!? I tried doing mine today, they look terrible compared to the ones on that 182!

The 172 Clio handles like a boat tbh and the 106 GTI and Sax VTS would give it a sweat on the twisties I reckon, on the straight I guess its just how well the driver can change gear but the 172 would pull away a bit Id expect(Standard v standard obv.) Just my two pennies.
