Cheers, sorted it all now! Got new HT leads now thou and the plugs are fine as they are just about new. Car stil runs like sh*t! Going to the garage sometime next week, fed up with it.

When I first got my RT an old Astra 1400 beat me down the ring road in towards Leicester. Top speed he just had it I couldnt keep up. Although mine was not modded at all his looked pretty old but had a zorst, prolly an induction kit and/or de-cat. Saying that mine was completely standard....

Exactly the same thing happened on my 1991 1.4 RT. Has been sorta fixed with a heli-coil, but I would think a new head is in order as the heli-coil will probably have to be redone whenever you take the plug back out. sh*tter when it happens eh! And the car sounds like proper awful too! People...
