Maybe not but once too often is enough for some people.
Cant afford the risks and the money for a valver, insurance might not be much more but its buying one in the first place. Dont wanna buy a poor example, would ideally like a Phase 2 or Phase 1 with low milage but you need cash and...
Wise words Paul. Liverpool Victoria havent been harsh on my mods, they are only basic things like alloys, induction kit, exhaust and suspension mods but its put an extra £30/£40 on my premium a year, with other companies mention induction kit and they keel over anyway.
Yeah, some of us cant afford nice cars like Corrado VR6s or 172s etc etc.
The only VTR I have kept up with was my mates VTR that was imported from France, now this was a 1.4 engine, and so is mine, so I was able to keep up with that easily, this was also like a year or so ago before I had...
Me and a mate are in the process of getting some door sills made up with the ClioSport name on and possibly a RenaultSport name on too, maybe with little ClioSport/RenaultSport logos in the backgroud. Would be etched writing on polished or the other way around, you get my drift....
Anyway...
Dont think you can change your username without re-registering, but I could be wrong. I think you should change it now to avoid Corsa jokes heh heh.
Some late Phase 1s had a seat height adjuster I think. My mates RT (could be different for the 16v) does and his is an L plate, it also has these...
Quite good, but a pain for people like me to print out as its got shedloads of colour in it! My printer is shat thou. Also probably needs a bit more detail?
Wouldnt cain it at startup whilst cold. Wait for engine temp to rise a bit and make sure u go thru all the gears before booting it. My mates old (now written off heh heh) Astra sounded a bit better when it was fully warmed up.
Cat was £200?? Omg you could of had mine!!! Actually no I need...
Cars lowered 40mm at front on Avo springs, and the torsion bar is reset to match. Really need some new shocks as the ride quality is bouncy, awful, noisy, squeeky and generally shat.
Quotes from Carnoisseur were KYBs @ £200, Gaz @ £250 (althou there is a 3 week waiting time), and Konis @ £250...
You could buy a replacement filter, remove the hot air feed that goes from the exhaust manifold to the airbox and replace it with a cold air feed from grille or under the bumper. Simple and effective. :o)
f**king hell I put this in the wrong fffffffkkkkinnn forum!!
Soz guys & gals.. Posting at 3am after work does have an effect...
Paul you got PM m8 ta..
(Could a moderator move this to the Wanted forum pls..?)
As above, to go on a phase 1 RT... Bump strips are for a 5 door and would prefer them to have RT written on the side cheers.
Oh, might be after a phase 3 front bumper too, and fogs.. Daz..? Anyone else with one going cheap?
Top half of dash with the extra space bit, either for the 3 oil...
Steering will feel a whole lot lighter (if you dont have power steering like poor old me), and itll stop yer tyres wearing loads!
Ive lowered the car, and when I get it done soon, should I get it checked again when I put new shocks on?
Where is Demon Tweeks anyway?
Wont be doing any welding, not quite that much of a DIY mechanic! I think filling the holes and sanding it down and re-spraying it, then fixing it back onto my boot will do the job just fine, just like this guys white clio. Will look fine, especially from a distance, which is all I want really...
Phase 2 strip is the carbon look isnt it? In which case it sticks out a bit to match the Phase 2/3 rear light clusters.
Yeah Im at staffs uni, livin at stafford court, 4 (or 5 however u call it) dark grey RT. What car has ur bro got?
Ahh, multi purpose filler, I thought there might be something special I could use but that sounds fine! Did you put anything behind the holes like small metal plates or anything?
Car looks alright btw. You lowering it next?
What should I use to get rid of these holes in my boot strip? Debadged it, just need to fill the holes up then I wanna respray it.

Alright geezer and welcome. What ya studying and where btw?? Plenty of lazy students on here I think, including myself!
The 1.4 would be the best aye, especially seeing as youve just passed. The 1.2 would be alright but after a year youd get fed up with the immense lack of power! A valver or...
Buy a faster car. No.. Really...
Induction kit, chip, backbox, full exhaust system, whatever you get, its not going to be fast enough for the money. Either buy a better car or just spend money making the one you have look nicer.
