hey, thinking on gettin some fk highsport coilovers in the group buy, but 1stly could do with knowing how much they would cost to get set up correctly??

LIGHT LIGHT ALLOYS make a gr8 difference in all round performance, you can loose up to 30kg buying the correct set etc, p.s defo get rid of the sub, chavy and heavy!, make you car as light as poss to get the best out of it, get rid of spare wheel etc etc, But no point in wasting money on a...

recently there was a thread showing cars with apex springs (40mm drop) and they wer rated great for looks but basicly shite for ride. so, instead of just buying the springs, if you bought the suspension set, springs and shocks, would that make the ride any better?

..this makes springs sound so much easier, cheaper an faff free, i dnt no if coilover r worth it 4 my 1.4, 2 much money involvd 4 a car i am only keeping a year.. :S
well my car hav coverd 28,000 miles and only gna b keeping it around a year, maby 2... That wouldnt 2 lng would it, ...saying that if i decide 2 keep my car lnger i can always just upgrade the shocks at a l8r date cant i..?

this is how heavy one 16" 172 (ph2 thick five spoke) alloy is with standard tyre fitted............ 17.2kg...
x4 = total of 68.8kg!!! just on wheels and tyres..
to me this seems slighty too heavy! any1 know how heavy a tyre simuler to size would be? surely they aint any more than 5kg a piece...
