my dad tried teaching me the high speed pursuit way of driving and its hard work. it takes a lot of concentration getting the posistion on the road right, looking far enough ahead and reading the road using such markers as telegraph poles to see what the roads doing ahead. He still tells me off...
Its more hassle than its worth. If its mint just sell it as a car. I broke my ph1 172 and it took absolutly ages to get shut of everything and i'd never consider doing it again.

I've done it far too many times now. Us Nw lot i know a mint circular route which i took foxy and a few others on last time we can do that if you want so its not a case of drive down do ten minutes and go home.
I don't like the idea of going round and round on a track, country roads are far more challenging and varied plus i like exploring new places.
As for crashing on country lanes I've been crashed into a tree on a country lane by said evo boy when we were younger and it certainly isn't nice...
you've already put money into yours though so it makes sense. I might get rid before putting anything into it. I'll see i might find something else i like.
problem with coil overs is it could end up taking for ever to get a decent setup. It would be easier if it was for track but backroads vary so much its near impossible.
rexe has only had the evo a month, so with a bit more experience with it he'll be even quicker.
I think chucking money...
Its only on eibachs at the minute i just don't want to end up spending a fortune if it will never be as quick. Its annoying how quick the evo is in and out of corners i'm not bothered about the straight line speed.
I took my low rider corsa on some of the single track lanes of north wales with grass in the middle it was an absolute nightmare it kept getting stuck.
Yeah but loads of deluded people seem to think that even the turbocharged clios don't need lsd as they handle the power well so a standard clio shouldn't have any problems in the corners but it does.
