Get one person to lever the hub down, whilst person two pulls at the shock and gets one bolt in. Once one is in, you're fine. It's better to do one than the other but I can't remember which way, sorry.
Also, make sure the top mount isn't tight tight, or it'll be a pig.
Oh, of course. See if you can enter the forum, and view all the trader pages. You should be able to post within each individual traders section, but not within the "traders" group forum itself.
I'd get on the phone to google if you can.. I don't know if they even have that sort of service, but they're customer side is supposed to be OK. Get into a proper conversation and explain. If they can remove it from the search it'd be a start.
Roy, let it do 100-0 then back to 100 again at least once a month. Purely because you'll find that 50% lasts longer.
I know if I don't do it to mine occasionally, 1% can last like 3 hours of usage!
It's all about how YOU ask them to do it steve...
So, tracking is about £60 I think, then camber adjustment is about £25 per side per axle.
So, on my beamer, I did the following,
1 x tracking
1x front camber
1x back camber
I had two camber values that I was all happy with (1 rear at 2.25...
I like that you're not going all fail sport on it and you're repainting seat rails etc, good work.
Can't wait to see that leather treated. You should wet vac all the carpets etc whilst it's out, try to get it looking like new.
Steve, what's wrong with Elite?
They're absolutely top, and one of the only places for miles that don't want to rape you in the ass cost wise and have proper hunter kit.
Told you not to sell it. All the money you've spent on parts on the meg you could have charged/itb'd/whatever'd it!
Stu, that silver one confuses me... I don't even like grey whees but I f**king love that.
Cracking work, loving the dedication still. I realise it's only you working away but god damn do I want to see more.
As for the sealer cracking, have you jacked it up or similar? Looks like stress from flexing etc?
Car looks alright, two big things for me, that tow strap looks abysmal, like honestly, stupendously terrible (a proper silver towing eye, even though I don't like them, would look 9,000,000x better) and that blue LED interior light just screams "arrest me I'm skinning up in here".
Other than...
I can't say I know anything about the ABS unit Sam, I'll have to ask Ant.
TBH, the way that passenger side caliper was releasing air when we bled it I do think it's the master cylinder. Hopefully it's sufficiently improved for now though.. If not, saturday job and we'll have the master...
Mark, pick yourself up a 50mm f1.8
Lovely sharp lense, with cracking short DOF. Can make some beginners images look crisp, sharp, and just plain lovely.
As said, the wheel cannot be moved. If you take it back it'll be done FOC as it's quite a common mistake.
Bloke opens the door, fits the steering wheel retainer not quite straight, does all the work. Drive out, and it drives mint but the wheel's not straight.
