FLOL! Ant! Superb! Honestly though, you are actual magic, the camera adds AT LEAST a stone to you ffs!
Take a half decent (even if only on phone) pic of the car and I'll edit it in with it.
Good man bodge!
Right, we've had a laugh about making this before, and Bobby J's photo inspired me to go ahead and do it.
The Rules:
You may have one photo of your car, and one photo of you in/driving it. This must be in the same post. No more, no less.
No "here's my old car, no pics of me driving...
So, it's probably time to update this, if only to keep it in check...
Since the last update, I've been busy but most stuff has been randomly mentioned in other threads, or used as media, not put in here..
The car was detailed by Ant with his magical powers:
I've then fitted a brand new...
I was talking to your mate the other day actually, checked it was him by asking him if he knew you! (Got the 'vette now right?)
Running costs are probably the best thing about it TBH, I was saying yesterday I'm fairly sure it's no more expensive to run than my 172 other than tyres.
MPG...
The finish really is impressive chip, not to mention the ability to "heal" stonechips. It's bloody durable from what I've seen too.
The police is the only annoying thing, every traffic cop you pass, I bet they'd consider giving you a tug. Maybe a big sign in the back window:
You've done a cracking job of that Tyler, is that why you were busy yesterday then mate?
The finish is quality but I'm not keen on the colour yet (better pictures may help).
The grey however, what an amazing colour. If I ended up having mine done, it'd 1000% be that grey.
Re: Cub 172's Flamer Project
Basically just an advanced catch tank? I like it. Could we then install a small pump off of the 12v cigarette feed to pump it straight back through a 8mm line into a small hole drilled into the oil filler cap?
It'll last forever!
LOL!
As soon as I can afford a decent 12 plate, I hope my plate is still available... ST12 ODE (literally my full surname). (Just checked, it's not, FUDGE).
I quite like the RS51 ZED though, bit pricey mind.
So many mods left to do, I need to push on with my brakes first and foremost though.
Re: A Mini Adventure ...
Well I totally missed this thread, totally.
Love the new wheels, get them on.
Coilovers and brakes too? You're going to regret spending all this when you sell it next week, and you know it!
Re: Cub 172's Flamer Project
Interesting stuff, using oil you say? Sounds like we both own BMW's :o
I wouldn't worry about nursing, I'd just do some tests, pre leaving. So take it for a motorway/a road blast and see how much it uses over 100 miles, then just workout your stops on the way to...
Prick.
Cheers Gallister, I have a full set of 108's (of which, all four are in two pieces and no bolts are broken (quite a rare thing now days it seems)). They're going to be redone, I'm not sure whether to do them myself or pay someone though.
I also have the style 32's, which Ant and I are...
Cheers mate, I like the "I stole it" look, I hardly want to look like some old man driving around in it ;)
Cheers mate, I think I'm still going to space the front 10mm, just for added amazement.
You're not wrong.
I wish Dave, but I think a facelift bumper at least might...
Everyone's entitled an opinion dude! As said I've still got a full set, all split down, ready for me to get to work on, so they're not gone forever. I have three sets of wheels I can chop and change with :o
I'm really happy with them, but knew they were going to be a bit martmite.
It's...
You can't just turn off the German love, it sticks with you and whispers in your ear every time you hear a french rattle... Agree on the offset front, it was one of the main reasons for purchase infact.
Thanks mate!
It is knuckle head, I think I'm at -2.15 per side which is within the...
