Maybe it feels right in the hands of a pro-driver - but to mere mortal gamers, it's not good at all. Not without tweaking the settings a LOT.
At first, I thought it might have been me - but two others have tried DIRT Rally 2.0 with the wheel and literally cannot for the life of them drive in a...
You've picked a difficult game there. DIRT Rally 2.0 for me is absolute dog-turd with a wheel - when using standard settings. If the force feedback was made for American Truck Simulator, it would be far more realistic. It's that far off the mark, that I really don't know what the devs or testing...
182's are like the best bacon butty you've ever had in your life.
Cheap, accessible - not full of pomp and pretentiousness - but when you're in the mood for one, they just hit the spot. If you're lucky enough to explore what it can do, like on a trip to the Scottish Highlands - it really does...
If you're not striving for current level level tech and want it purely for work, you could do a lot worse than a 1650. I've got a standard 1050 installed in my works PC. Does me fine supporting three monitors, though specifically going for 3x HDMI ports is a limiting factor these days.
Do you...
Bit of a bump on this thread. I've been playing through the career mode and thoroughly enjoying it. The actively encouraged driving style of punting the opposition off the track just doesn't get boring - especially when you manage to time your move and shove them into oncoming traffic and/or a...
He mentioned something about allocation as well.
So say you went to a Ford dealership over here, there would usually be 30+ cars there for you to wander around. Over there, there might be two or three. It seems strange that although the country borders the one where they are manufactured - that...
One of the guys in the office is from Poland and he's told me in the past just how expensive cars both new and 2nd hand can be over there. In particular, the difference between driving into Germany and buying what you're after from there instead.
Yeah - they can be a bit tricky - usually the passenger side is the worst of all the connections. Though as mentioned, raising the wiper arm to begin makes it a lot easier - perhaps as it takes some tension off the spindle that the wiper itself fits onto.
Make sure the bolts and washers have a...
I'm north of 3,000 achievements through Steam now - the majority have been worked for and required a bit of effort. Some are a joke though, requiring little more than launching the game in the first place. Others I haven't a clue how the other gamers have managed to obtain them.
A slightly...
Well mine is on circa 165k and will be going away for several weeks from the 25th March to get mechanical work done. The cost is daft for a 15-year-old Clio - certainly on paper, but I was upfront and honest with myself.
First off, I'm the only owner of it - I know exactly what has gone on...
It is - but from a strictly commercial perspective, that clearly doesn't work as well as an open ended/car collecting driving game. Fairplay to them to push the hardcore sim route as personally, I find it much more rewarding to play. It would just never sell as well as the likes of Forza and...
I just think its too focused. And while anyone interested in cars or racing would 'get it' as a game - it just doesn't have the garage and car ownership appeal of the likes of Forza and many others.
I guess there is little choice other than diesel for huge torque, decent enough economy - and importantly, continuous reliability.
Imagine battery packs trying to provide the above running 12 hours a day for months on end!
Makes me laugh at how many studios out there are bouncing ideas around, desperately trying to come up with something that will sell well. Yet Valve have sat on their arse with this since HL2 : Episode 2, back in 2007.
Not only that, but the potential for L4D3. Both games would sell by the...
